Jack Turns One!

Though my concentration is specified towards wedding photography these days, I'm still offering a fair amount of portrait photography. It's moving into the time of year that I can more easily offer morning portrait sessions, too, because the morning light is becoming softer and with more haze.

Leanne and Dan are a client that my story began with one year ago. That's when I first got to meet Jack for his newborn photos. These two were so easy going... who seemed to have taken to parenthood so well. Leanne and Dan, you've raised a fine young one year old! Jack is just one of the happiest babies.

I met the Walton family, though they live in Sugar Grove, in the heart of Rockford at Alpine Park. I love this mature park for it's cozy and open pine grove, ravine, and magical limestone retainer wall. Here's a look back at Jack's One Year old session! Enjoy!
