Velasquez Newborn Session | Belvidere, IL
I was contacted way last year about coming to Belvidere for a newborn session with Brittany and her family as her husband would be home for the arrival of their new son. My candid approach and relaxed style was perfect for this family of five. I favored plenty of classic black and white photos as you'll see below. We were fortunate to have a warm winter day so I opted to even go out on to the country road outside their house for a few fun outdoor photos. Enjoy!

Amy Block Senior Photos | Tinker Swiss and Downtown Rockford
Amy's senior photo session was the perfect way to start off November. The weather was amicably warm and the sun shone with its gorgeous light. We met at Tinker Swiss Cottage and used the gorgeous field and Amy showed me some of her awesome dance skills. Next we had an outfit change and focused on making some awesome urban vibe photos while dusk set in and the downtown lights flickered on. Amy, you were so fun and had a great energy. I wish you well as you continue on this adventure!
Here's my favorites from working with Ms. Block.

Kulpa Family | Rock Cut State Park
Stephanie, Billy, Grant and I went out to Rock Cut State Park to spend a beautiful October afternoon. The weather was perfect and we got so many happy family moments around the park. We even got a picturesque dusk on the lake for some of our last photos. Here's a handful of my favorites from the afternoon. Thanks for spending it with me, Kulpa family!
