Robyn and Ryan Engagement Photos | Rockford Brewing Company and Downtown Rockford IL


I mean, it's not every day you wind up marrying the guy you pretended to be dating one night. But, for these two, that's just the case. This coming September, Robyn and Ryan will be getting married at Dry Creek up in South Beloit. But first, we got to meet in downtown Rockford, IL for some engagement photos. We broke the ice by grabbing a beer at Rockford Brewing Company before heading outside.

 Here's some of my favorites with Robyn + Ryan. Enjoy!

Lindsay and Muamer | Nighttime Engagement Photos in the Snow | Downtown Rockford IL


Okay. So here's a friend that goes a long ways back. Lindsay is one of my sister's best friends from high school! I can't be her wedding photographer because I'm one of her bridesmaids... but that didn't stop me from shooting some engagement photos for her and Muamer. We waited and waited for nighttime snow fall because of course her heart was set on a beautiful winter wonderland. And I don't blame her because these turned out beautifully! We met downtown Rockford and hit up some of my favorite go-to locations around Millennium Park and along State Street. The snow was falling all evening making for perfect winter snowscapes.

Abby and Blaine | Engagement Photos at The Local Dough and Williams Tree Farm | Rockton, IL

Abby and Blaine are getting married! I recently met them for their engagement photos in the quaint and quiet little town of Rockton. Abby and Blaine had lunch at The Local Dough where we started for a few casual shots to kick off the session. After the cafe, we took a quick walk through downtown Rockton before heading to the outskirts of town. The wind had all but disappeared when we arrived at Williams Tree Farm. We captured a handful of my favorite images at the piny stead before we parted ways. My favorite part of this session? Abby and Blaine being awesome and hilarious, of course.
